MEDIUM's cancellation was both stupid & deceiving on CBS's part. Even though it originally aired on NBC & was cancelled, CBS owned the rights of the show. They thought they would fool us by saying they would renew on CBS, yet all along they had plans to cancel. I agree with everyone that it was a great family oriented show & by killing off JOE & leaving Arielle out of the picture, only to show her after Joe died was not pleasing to me. The girls have Allison's abilities in various forms & would work into further fantastic storylines. So who pulled the plug really? Did the cast decide that they wanted to end the show, or the execs? Surely it was not poor ratings. I HATE that CBS let us down.

Very very upset that it was cancelled and I am done with CBS. This shows ratings are higher than other shows. This show has very loyal fans. I am really heartbroken about this show being cancelled. I have watched EVERY episode since day one. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL IT !!!

First they cancel my very favorite show.....then they do it no justice by killing Joe in the final episode! Are you kidding me!!!!! I am so upset, there were so many different ways they could of ended it, they did no justice to the family and characters that we have grown to love. Friday nights were what I looked forward te at the end of each work week just to watch this show! What a waste of talent and amazing writing!

That show is great! Not only was it a surprise that it was cancelled, but they cancelled it in January instead of the usual end of the season. What a rip!!!! What will they offer us next? Another dumb reality show?

One of the best shows on TV. I loved it on Mondays but followed when it moved to Fridays. Great show, stupid move. What kind of junk will replace it - another ridiculous reality show?????

Why would you cancel a good show that entertains the whole family?

They are an everyday family with a gift......Now we are subject to the most stupid reality shows ever.......I ONLY HAVE TO ASK WHY?

As far as I am concerned, BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week, I looked up when the next medium was going to air, and found many links to websites informing me that Medium was going to be cancelled! I was devestated. Medium is one of the only shows that not only maintain their good quality, but keep getting BETTER! It amazes me that they would even consider cancelling a tv show as brilliant as this one, to be honest. Even if the ratings have dipped, they are still better than most shows' ratings. This show has thousands of devoted fans like myself that would be very sad if Medium was cancelled. The promise of Medium at the end of a long week is what keeps me going. There are just too many loose ends to tie up in two more episodes. Please...don't add Medium to the list of shows that retire too early!

Hi everyone. I see that on Friday 1/07/11 MEDIUM is on at the usual time with a new episode. Is this an episode that was not aired & so is called NEW? I still cannot believe that this wonderful show was cancelled. Hoping for some good news.

Did anyone see an announcement saying that MEDIUM's last episode was SERIES FINALE? I sure didn't & am very shocked that MEDIUM was cancelled last season on NBC & CBS gave us hope & picked up MEDIUM (YES THEY OWNED IT TO BEGIN WITH) & teased us with a brief season?? Just when Allison's girls were getting more involved & their abilities were getting interesting, CBS decides to just end it & not even make a big deal about it, unless you love it that they killed off Joe's mom. I am so tired of getting attached to programs of interest & then feeling that someone died after the networks go fickle on us & do the cancellation routine. I am also sick of the networks promoting a series as #1 hit & then it goes down the toilet. Are children throwing tantrums running the network stations now? The network honchos sure act like children who do not have guidance. Grow up NETWORKS & read our comments. We are the real fans who know their mind & especially know what we want to watch.
