I AM WHITE AND I LOVE BLACK LIGHTNING 4 THE ACTION AND 4 THE FACT THE SHOW TAKES ITSELFE MORE SERIOUSLY THAN OTHER DC SHOWS-WITH THAT SAID I DO HOPE THE SHOW LAYS OFF OF THE ISSUE OF RACE BECUZ THEY ACT LIKE THAT CAN BE THE ONLY WAY TO GET A PLOT-BLACK LIGHTNING HAS FAR MORE POTENTIAL THAN THAT!

Subject: Hollywood, don't let your innate racism blind your vision.
Take note:
The black panther absolutely TRASHED his white counterpart Captain America through superior training, intellect, and technology. And guess what....this is perfectly O.K.!
Black people have the ability to do more than be strong, talk jive, have broken relaionships, sell poison and fornicate. They have the proven ability to be be intellectually adept in any subject matter, naturally stronger and more athlectic than other groups of people, ethical, moral, and deeply spiritual. Why not just allow the characters to be who they naturally are? Why impose your view of them blatantly through some of the corniest dialogue and action reminiscent of an 80's rendition of marvel comics film. Seriously...MANTIS WAS BETTER DONE MORE THAN 20 YEARS AGO!!!!
Please. Don't lose the opportunity to create something memorable and great. Black Lighting needed to be done, but it could be MUCH better!

Slow fighting, bad acting, fighting mostly blacks, as typical with a black super heroes, (except Blade), Blacks that will do anything to be in a show with the excuse, " I'm and actor/actress..this is what I do". You do garbage, and this is it!
